“We will not allow anyone to usurp the ancient areas”

These statements were made yesterday by the Director of information and culture of Laghman Province, Maulvi Abdul Noor Rasooli, to the owners of houses built around the ancient area of Zarghondi.
The Director of Information and Culture of Laghman, the Manager of Culture and Art and the Manager of Protection of Historical Heritage visited the Zarghondi ancient area in for the purpose of monitoring. During a meeting with the people living in the said area, they talked about the usurpation of the historical area of Zarghondi and building houses and planting plants in the area. He added that it is forbidden to build houses or plant anything around this particular ancient area.
