The Director of the Department of Information and Culture of Herat visited Historical Areas

Maulana Naeemul Haq Haqqani, Director of Information and Culture of Herat province, who was accompanied by the Managers of Information, Tourism, Protection of Historical Sites, visited the historical area of Kohandaj.
Mr. Haqqani, during his visit to this historical area, called this area one of the most important historical areas of Herat province and emphasized on the protection of historical monuments.
Mr. Haqqani emphasized on the protection of these historical areas and the prevention of the construction of illegal buildings behind and around these historical areas and added that historically, this area is of special importance to the Department of Information and Culture.
It is worth mentioning that Herat province has more than 800 historical sites, which most of them needs restoration.
