Expanding Access to Academic Research Support for Students
A new memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the General Directorate of Public Libraries at the Ministry of Information and Culture and the Union of Private Universities, paving the way for stronger collaboration in support of students. Through this agreement, students will gain improved access to the facilities and resources they need for academic research.
The initiative is designed to make studying easier and more effective by enhancing library services, supporting research activities, and encouraging a deeper culture of reading across the country.
Dr. Rafiullah Samim, Director of Public Libraries, welcomed the agreement and reaffirmed his commitment to improving access to research tools and resources. He emphasized that the partnership will not only support students in their academic work but also help foster a lasting appreciation for reading and learning.
The agreement, which reflects a shared commitment to academic and cultural development, was formally signed by Dr. Samim and Mr. Ahmad Popal, President of the Union of Private Universities.
