The Director of Information and Culture met with the Cultural Officer of the UNESCO Organization

Yesterday, the Director of Information and Culture of Kapisa Province Maulvi Karimullah Waseeq met with Brendan Kassar, Cultural Officer of the UNESCO Organization and employee Ehsanullah Munib, in his office.
The Director of Information and Culture Karimullah Waseeq welcomed Mr. Brendan Kassar and his friends and shared information about the cultural and informational situation of Kapisa province and youth affairs.
He added; “Kapisa province is one of the ancient provinces, the center of the Kushan civilization and empire was this province, looking at the antiquity of this province, no special attention has been paid to it and we ask UNESCO to pay attention to and protect artifacts such as the historic towers of Allah Sai district, which have a history of thousands of years, the mysterious cave of the same district, Abu Saeed Abul Khair Kohband shrine, Sangi mosque in Nijrab and the three shrines of Farrukhshah and many other historical places should be conserved and focused on the recording of historical heritage.”
Brendan Kassar, the Cultural Officer of the UNESCO organization, in his speech, thanked the officials of the Department of Information and Culture of Kapisa province for the reception and said: “After the revolution in Afghanistan, it is the first time that he has traveled to Kapisa province in order to listen to their proposal.” He promised that all the proposals of the Department of Information and Culture will be sent to the central office.
Finally, both sides visited the local museum of Kapisa Province.
