Kandahar Holds Coordination Meeting with Writers and Cultural Figures

The Kandahar Provincial Department of Information and Culture, in cooperation with the Al-Ribat Scientific and Cultural Institution, held a coordination meeting with a number of writers and cultural figures to discuss the role of writing and knowledge in society.
The meeting was attended by Kandahar Deputy Governor Mawlawi Saifuddin Taib, Islamic Emirate Spokesperson Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, Kandahar Provincial Director of Information and Culture Mufti Inamullah Samangani, and several officials and spokespersons from local institutions.
Speaking at the meeting, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid highlighted the importance of knowledge and writing, urging writers to make greater efforts to enhance young people's academic capabilities and contribute to building a brighter future for society.
Mawlawi Saifuddin Taib welcomed the organization of such meetings, emphasizing that writing can play an important role in promoting positive change and improving society.
Several participating writers and cultural figures expressed their appreciation to the Provincial Department of Information and Culture for facilitating such gatherings. They also called for more meetings to strengthen engagement with writers and cultural figures.
