New Director of Information and Culture in Herat Officially Assumes Office

 13 Safar 1448 AH Mawlawi Atiqullah Azizi officially assumed his duties as the new Director of Information and Culture for Herat Province during a formal handover ceremony attended by the former Director of Information and Culture, Mawlawi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, heads of departments, journalists, and employees of the Directorate.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mawlawi Ahmadullah Muttaqi expressed his appreciation to the Directorate's staff, journalists, and cultural and media organizations for their cooperation and support throughout his tenure. He noted that he had devoted every effort to strengthening cultural activities, supporting the media, and preserving Herat Province's rich historical and cultural heritage during his time in office.
In his remarks, Mawlawi Atiqullah Azizi expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the Directorate's mission. He stated that, working closely with the Directorate's staff, journalists, and members of the cultural community, he would make every effort to expand cultural programmes, strengthen support for the media, and protect and preserve the cultural heritage of Herat Province.
Mr. Azizi also called on the Directorate's employees to carry out their responsibilities with professionalism, commitment, and a spirit of cooperation. He urged them to play an active role in delivering effective public services and contributing to the achievement of the Directorate's objectives.
