Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance and Administrative Affairs Meets Kuwaiti Investor
On 12 Rabi al-Awwal 1448 AH, Mawlavi Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture, met in Kabul with Kuwaiti investor and Chairman of Al-Sayer Companies, Mohammed Nasser Mohammed Al-Sayer. Mawlavi Mohammad Shafiq Khatib, Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the Kuwaiti investor expressed his interest in investing in Afghanistan’s tourism sector and outlined his intention to explore investment opportunities in the country.
Mawlavi Qudratullah Jamal welcomed the investor’s interest, emphasizing the Ministry of Information and Culture’s readiness to provide the necessary cooperation and facilitate investment in the tourism sector.
He highlighted Afghanistan’s considerable tourism potential, citing its rich historical heritage, diverse natural landscapes, historic monuments and archaeological sites. He noted that these assets provide significant opportunities for the development of the tourism industry and for attracting both domestic and international investment.
The Deputy Minister further noted that, with nationwide security strengthened and increasing attention being given to the development of the tourism sector, the number of domestic and international visitors exploring Afghanistan’s natural, historical and cultural attractions is steadily increasing.
