Book Evaluation Commission Holds Regular Meeting to Review Publications

The Book Evaluation Commission, operating under the Deputy Ministry of Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, held its regular meeting on Monday, 13 Muharram 1447 AH.
During the meeting, the Commission reviewed and made decisions on several books. Publications found to be consistent with Islamic and Afghan values were granted permission to be published.
The Commission also reviewed 121 imported and exported books representing 16 different titles. In addition, 20 referred books were assigned to Commission members for detailed assessment, with reports to be presented at the next meeting.
The Commission further reviewed collections of exported newspapers and several official documents. Following discussion and the exchange of views, the necessary decisions were made regarding these materials.
