Repaired Artifacts of National Gallery Exhibited

Part of artefacts of the national gallery that have been repaired was displayed at a one-day exhibition held the other day in Kabul.
The artefacts were damaged during the regime of the Taliban.
In the exhibition, 31 relics including works of calligraphy and painting that have been repaired by foreign experts with the close cooperation of national gallery, civil society and British Council were displayed.
In a ceremony held on this occasion, president Cultural advisor Zarin Inzor by praising the respective organs for their initiative and works in repairing and preserving the artefacts hoped all works and relics that were damaged during the Taliban regime would be repaired.
Meanwhile, head of the Culture Foundation and Civil Society Timor Shah Hakimyar said that nearly 210 relics have been damaged during the Taliban regime, adding that 150 of them were repairable and now 31 of them have been repaired and were displayed in the exhibition.
Visiting the repaired relics, deputy minister of culture and art for information and culture Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari asked the national gallery to display the repaired artefacts showing national identity by holding few programs.
