A graduation ceremony took place in Kabul, marking the successful completion of a technical and vocational training program for 53 young individuals.
This initiative was financially supported by the War Child Canada organization and was organized by the Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture at a short-term training center.
The event was attended by key figures, including Hazratullah Sharifi, the Director of Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture; spokesperson Khobib Ghofran; officials from the War Child Canada organization; graduates; and representatives from various media outlets.
In his address, Hazratullah Sharifi highlighted the training program's primary objectives, which aim to create job opportunities for youth and curb illegal migration. He noted that participants gained essential skills in mobile phone repair, computer maintenance, refrigerator servicing, and security camera installation over three months.
khobib Ghafran echoed these sentiments, underscoring the importance of comprehensive training for young people. He stated that such programs enhance their skill sets and foster personal development.
The graduates expressed their enthusiasm for the skills they acquired and voiced a collective request for more training opportunities to support their journey toward economic independence.
After the ceremony, each graduate received technical tools relevant to their training, equipping them for practical work in their respective fields. This provision is expected to facilitate their transition into the workforce and contribute positively to their communities.
