A Delegation from Department of Information and Culture of Nangarhar visited Sharq Radio and Television

Yesterday, Maulvi Siddiqullah Qureshi, Information Officer of Nangarhar Province's Information and Culture Department, visited various departments of Sharq Radio and Television while meeting with the media.
Mr. Qureshi, in the meeting with the officials of the said television, gave recommendation of good standard broadcasting to the media.
  Also, Maulvi Qureshi emphasized that the media should promote all their broadcasts and programs in the light and in accordance with religion and the Afghan culture.
At the same time, the officials of Sharq Radio and Television thanked the delegation of the Department of Information and Culture for their visit and assured them of providing good standard broadcasts.
It is worth noting that Radio Sharq started operating in this province in 2003. Currently, it broadcasts 14 hours a day from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
In addition, television segments started operating again in 2008, which currently broadcasts 24 hours a day.
