Book Review Commission Holds Regular Meeting

On 22 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH The Book Review Commission of the Ministry of Information and Culture held its regular meeting chaired by Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs Mawlawi Muhajir Farahi and members of the commission.
The meeting reviewed a number of books referred to the commission for assessment. Following the review, the commission made the necessary decisions, including granting publication approval to books found to be consistent with Islamic and Afghan values. Decisions were also made regarding 274 copies covering 114 different titles submitted to the commission.
During the meeting, a commission member representing the Ministry of Higher Education was recognized for his continued efforts and cooperation with the commission.
The meeting also discuss matters related to the commission’s work, exchange views, and make the necessary decisions.
At the end of the meeting, 20 books referred to the commission were distributed among its members for review. The members will present their assessments at the commission’s next meeting.
