The second meeting of the committee to address the issues of booksellers, publishing societies, printers, paper sellers, and manufacturers took place at the Beyhaqi Book Publishing Department of the Ministry of Information and Culture. The meeting was led by Maulvi Abdul Aleem Zhanwak, the head of the department.

During the meeting, the committee discussed the challenges faced by booksellers, publishing societies, printing houses, paper sellers, and producers and shared their opinions. The Ministry of Information and Culture, under its leadership, is dedicated to finding and implementing solutions to these issues.

It was also decided during the meeting that, to better implement the Prime Minister's directive, all publishing societies, book and paper sellers, paper importers, manufacturers, and printing presses should be officially registered and their data presented at the next meeting.

Furthermore, the committee discussed topics such as strengthening the private sector, exempting customs duty on paper imports, controlling the sale and pricing of books in the market, journalism, printing, design, and packaging, employing professional and technical staff in printing houses, establishing collaboration with foreign institutions in the field of book printing, preventing the printing of books abroad, and creating a special cultural and broadcasting market for publishing societies, among other important issues.

The meeting concluded with a prayer.
