The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture visited “Ashkashim” Port in Badakhshan

Yesterday, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah visited Ashkashim port in Badakhshan, while accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Broadcasting, Mohajer Farahi and Chief of Armed Forces, Qari Fasihullddin Fitrat.
“Ashkashim” port, which is a common trade border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, is located in “Ashkashim” district of Badakhshan.
Mr. Khairkhwah expressed his happiness during his visit to the said port and added that both countries of Tajikistan and Afghanistan, have common culture and strong relations.
In addition to this, he also expressed his satisfaction with the good administration and ongoing activity of the officials there.

Afterwards, Mr. Mohajer Farahi promised that the Ministry of Information and Culture will try to establish a radio FM for the people of this region, so that the residents of this region can benefit from public awareness and learn about the current situation of the country.

Recently, the Chief of Army Forces, Qari Fasihullddin Fitrat, rejected the claim made by the United Nations about the insecurity of Afghanistan's borders, he added that the borders are secure and under tight surveillance by the Islamic Emirate.
