Regular Meeting of the Book Review Commission Convened

On Monday, June 16, 2025 (19 Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH), the Book Review Commission held a regular meeting at the Directorate of Publications under the Ministry of Information and Culture. The session was chaired by Mawlawi Zia-ul-Haq Haqmal, the Head of the Bakhtar Information Agency, and attended by other commission members.

The meeting began with a presentation of the report from the previous session by the commission secretary. Mawlawi Zia-ul-Haq Haqmal praised the commission's recent achievements and ongoing efforts, describing them as constructive and in line with its mandate.

During the session, the commission made several important decisions regarding various books. Publications that aligned with Islamic principles and Afghan cultural values were approved for printing.

At the conclusion of the meeting, newly submitted books were distributed to the commission members for evaluation. They were assigned the task of reviewing the materials and presenting their findings at the next scheduled meeting.
