Regular Meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission Convened

On Monday (20th Rabi al-Thani 1447 AH), the regular meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission, operating under the Deputy Ministry of Publications Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture, was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister Mr. Muhajir Farahi, with the participation of the commission’s members.

The meeting began with the presentation of the previous session’s report by the commission’s secretary. The members gave a positive review of the commission’s recent achievements and ongoing activities.

During the session, several books were evaluated, and those found to be consistent with Islamic and Afghan cultural values were granted permission for publication. Additionally, necessary decisions were made regarding 586 previously issued books.

At the conclusion of the meeting, 11 books submitted for review were distributed among the commission members for assessment, with instructions to present their reports in the next session. The participants also discussed matters related to books received from the National Examination Authority and those designated for submission to the esteemed Bayhaqi Directorate, making appropriate decisions on both.
