A Recitation Competition was Held in Paktia Province

On Monday (18th of March, 2024), a recitation competition was held in Gardez, the center of Paktia, by the Management of Youth Affairs of the Department of Information and Culture of Paktia Province.
Thirty reciters from different regions took part in this competition, the aim of which was to create healthy competition between them in reciting the Holy Quran.
The Director of Information and Culture, Qazi Sawab Jan Islamyar, called such competitions important and said: “In addition to the love of the Holy Quran and the rule of the Quranic law, it is necessary for every Muslim to learn the correct recitation and tajwid of the Holy Quran, as well as It is necessary to remember the sacrifices made in the implementation of the rule of Quran.”
Manager of Youth Affairs, Asfar Rahman Khpalwak, says: “On one hand, this kind of competition of good recitation is the cause of encouraging and prioritizing the youth of the Ummah, and on the other hand, this kind of religious competition has its sacredness in the society and to leave a good impression,” he assured that such religious, intellectual and academic competitions will be held in the future.
At the end of the competition, the Department of Information and Culture gave gifts to the participants of the competition.
