MoIC Assures Overall Cooperation for National Saplings Plantation Drive

Acting Minister of Information and Culture Mohammad Tahir Zuhair in a meeting with director of National Environment Protection Agency, Shah Zaman Maiwandi assured overall cooperation for national saplings plantation drive.

In the meeting, the NEPA director by briefing related to the program said that based on the instruction of the country’s President, National Environment Protection Agency has decided to plant 25 million saplings across the country with close coordination of relevant government organs.

Maiwandi asked acting minister of information and culture to cooperate in public awareness, mobility and cooperation through youth and artists.

Acting minister of information and culture assured of the ministry’s overall cooperation with NEPA, saying that based on instruction of the country’s President, Hoot 20 (10 March) has been announced as National Saplings Plantation Day.
