On Tuesday (28th of Rabi al-Thani, 1447 AH), the Ministry of Information and Culture held a ceremony to recognize political analysts for their contributions and support during recent national events.
The event was attended by the Minister of Information and Culture, Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani; the Deputy Minister for Publications, Mujahid Farahi; the Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs, Maulvi Mohammad Younus Rashid; several department directors; and numerous political analysts.
In his speech, Minister Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani praised the unity and resilience of the Afghan people during recent developments, stating:
“As required by the situation, our entire nation stood together in defense of the Islamic system. They made it clear to the world that the Afghan people are one united nation that will not tolerate any aggression against their homeland. The Islamic Emirate sincerely thanks all media outlets and political analysts for their constructive engagement. With collective determination, this nation has consistently defended its country against all forms of invasion. The Islamic Emirate has held negotiations with global powers as an independent and sovereign entity, courageously protecting the rights of its people — a notable example being the successful prisoner exchange negotiations with the U.S. delegation.”
Deputy Minister for Publications, Mujahid Farahi, highlighted in his remarks:
“The Ministry of Information and Culture fully supports political analysts and the media. All media organizations that uphold Islamic and Afghan values are free to operate, and the ministry continues to assist and cooperate with them in every possible way.”
During the event, political analysts also shared their views, stating:
“Defending every inch of our homeland is both our Islamic and national duty. The military forces of the Islamic Emirate have responded to aggression with great bravery — a response unmatched in the nation’s history. We reaffirm our commitment to support the system and serve our country with loyalty and dedication."
They also provided their suggestions and recommendations to ministry officials, who listened attentively and respectfully.
