Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs Visits Paktia Province
The Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, paid an official visit to Paktia Province, where he met with the Deputy Governor and the Director of Information and Culture.
In his meeting with the Deputy Governor, Mawlawi Jamal held comprehensive discussions on improving road access to the province’s tourist sites and enhancing facilities for visitors. He urged the provincial authorities to prioritize the construction of roads leading to recreational areas in addition to major highways and to ensure the establishment of essential infrastructure in tourism zones.
The Deputy Governor of Paktia, Sheikh Enamullah Salahuddin, assured that significant progress has been achieved under the Islamic Emirate across multiple sectors. He noted that, alongside these developments, many harmful traditional practices have been curbed, and numerous reforms have been introduced throughout the province.
As part of his visit, the deputy minister also toured the Aryub zazai tourist area, where he inspected the ongoing construction of a hotel financed through the ministry’s development budget. He emphasized that the area will soon offer comprehensive facilities to both domestic and international tourists.
Additionally, during his meeting with Mawlawi Sawab Jan Islamiar, Director of Information and Culture in Paktia, Mawlawi Jamal visited the provincial public library, educational classes, and the guesthouse. He commended the efforts of the Directorate of Information and Culture, stressing that the enhancement of library services and educational programs will further expand opportunities for learning and research among the local population.
