A New Radio network called “Aynak” started operating in Logar Province

Yesterday, a new radio network called “Aynak”officially started broadcasting in Logar Province, along with 6 other government and private radio stations.
In the ceremony organized for this purpose, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Zabihullah Mujahid, the Director of Information and Culture of Logar Province, Rafiullah Samim, the Director of the provincial office, Maulvi Mirwais Wahidullah, the Director of Industry and Trade, Maulvi Shabir Ahmad Siddiqui, local media officials and Journalists attended.
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Zabihullah Mujahid, said: “The Islamic Emirate is a full supporter and co-operator of the media,” Mr. Mujahid asked the media to broadcast according to the Sharia and to take into account the policies of the I.E.A.
Rafiullah Samim, Director of Information and Culture of Logar, said: “It is a place of happiness that today we are once again witnessing the opening of a new radio station in this province,” he added; “With the arrival of the Islamic Emirate, the situation of the media has improved and so far no problem has arisen between the media and the provincial administration in this province.” Mr. Samim assured the media that he would not hesitate to do anything to support the media.
It is worth noting that two government and 5 private radio stations are currently operating in Logar Province, and besides, the monthly newspaper of the Department of Information and Culture and the magazine of the Higher Education Organization named “Aynak” are also published.
