The New Director of the Youth Affairs Department Was Officially Introduced

Pursuant to a decree of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Sayed Mohammad Dawood Agha, former President of Paktika University, has been appointed as Director of the Youth Affairs Department under the General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Values of the Ministry of Information and Culture.

He was formally introduced and officially assumed his duties during a ceremony attended by Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance and Administration; Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayebi, Deputy Minister for Culture and Arts; Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs; Mufti Mohammad Tahir Ahmadi, Director General of the General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Values; ministry advisers, directors, and representatives of Emirate institutions.

Opening the ceremony, Mufti Mohammad Tahir Ahmadi, Director General of the General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Values, underscored the significance of the Youth Affairs Department, stating that it is responsible for strengthening the ideological, intellectual, and educational awareness of the country's youth.

Addressing the gathering, Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance and Administration, provided an overview of the activities and responsibilities of the General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Values. He noted that the directorate is tasked with documenting and preserving the country's historical legacy and passing it on to future generations so that young people remain informed about the history of their homeland.

He further emphasized that one of the principal objectives of the Youth Affairs Department is to nurture and empower young people while creating opportunities for their meaningful participation in the workforce.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mawlawi Sayed Mohammad Dawood Agha, the newly appointed Director of the Youth Affairs Department, expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate and the officials of the Ministry of Information and Culture for the confidence they had placed in him. He pledged to carry out his responsibilities with commitment, integrity, and sincerity.

He also called on all officials and employees of the Ministry to extend their cooperation and coordination to further strengthen the department's work and contribute to its continued development.
