MOIC Holds Reformative Session to Strengthen Implementation of Leadership Directives and Orders
On 24 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH: The Ministry of Information and Culture’s Directorate of Guidance and Outreach held a reformative session with staff of the General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Heritage and the National Museum at the General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Heritage, with the aim of further strengthening the implementation of the leadership’s directives and the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.
The session was attended by Deputy Minister for Arts and Culture Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayebi, Director General of the Preservation of Jihadi Heritage Mufti Mohammad Tahir Ahmad, Director of Guidance and Outreach Mawlawi Abdul Salam Agha Saeed, the Director of the National Museum, and a number of staff members from the National Museum and the General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Heritage.
At the beginning of the session, Director of Guidance and Outreach Mawlawi Abdul Salam Agha Saeed provided comprehensive information, in accordance with the leadership’s directives and the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, on government employees’ conduct and appearance, the performance of prayers, and the provision of religious lessons.
Speaking about the importance of holding such sessions, Director General of the Preservation of Jihadi Heritage Mufti Mohammad Tahir Ahmad said, “Islam is the best religion on earth.” He added that our beliefs, views, morals and actions should be in accordance with Islamic Sharia so that we can attain success in this world and the Hereafter and called on the participants to regard such sessions as a valuable opportunity and to make effective use of them.
Deputy Minister for Arts and Culture Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayebi also spoke about the value and importance of Islamic Sharia and its implementation in society. He said, “The Islamic Emirate came to power after many sacrifices and acts of selflessness, and preserving it is a shared responsibility.”
Sheikh Tayebi also spoke about the virtue of performing congregational prayers, teaching religious lessons, shaping one’s conduct and appearance in accordance with Islamic Sharia, and promoting Islamic culture in society.
The Deputy Minister for Arts and Culture called on staff of the two directorates to maintain their unity, brotherhood and coordination, and to review and process the affairs of visitors within the shortest possible time.
