The Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs signed an agreement worth 131 million Afghanis with the Islamic Relief Foundation

On Wednesday, the 4th of Jumadi al-Awali 1446, Mavlawi Muhammad Yunus Rashid, the Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture, met with Mr. Muhammad Zulqarnain Abbas, the head of the Islamic Relief Foundation for Afghanistan, in his office. They discussed opportunities for youth work and capacity building. During the meeting, they signed an agreement worth 131 million Afghanis for the implementation of seven programs focused on intellectual reform and economic empowerment.
 
Mr. Rashid welcomed Mr. Abbas and talked about the general situation of youth in the country. He stated, "We are working to provide better opportunities and facilities for the youth." In response, Mr. Abbas praised the efforts of the Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs in enhancing educational and work services for young people. He also shared information about the planned initiatives for the youth.
 
At the conclusion of the meeting, a bilateral cooperation agreement worth 131 million Afghanis was signed between the Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Islamic Relief Foundation for Afghanistan. This agreement will allow for the implementation of seven programs that will benefit 1,825 young people in the Kabul, Balkh, and Nangarhar regions.
