Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administration Visits Sar-e-Pul Province

On Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (Sha’ban 1, 1446 Hijri), Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administration at the Ministry of Information and Culture, led a delegation to Sar-e-Pul Province.
The purpose of this visit was to assess the operations, achievements, and challenges faced by the Provincial Directorate of Information and Culture. During his visit, Deputy Minister Jamal inspected key departments, including the public library and the National Radio and Television provincial branch. He conducted a thorough review of their operational efficiency, institutional capacities, and the challenges they encounter, assuring local officials that necessary measures would be taken to address the identified issues.
Additionally, he visited the shrine of Imam Zada Yahya bin Zayd Shaheed, emphasizing the importance of restoring and preserving this site of cultural and historical significance.
Mullah Abdul Ghafar Haqnama, the Director of Information and Culture for Sar-e-Pul, highlighted the province’s rich historical and tourism potential. He stressed the need for increased focus on restoring ancient monuments and expanding cultural initiatives.
He also noted that cultural programs and media activities in the province are progressing steadily. This visit is part of the Ministry of Information and Culture’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cultural programs, safeguard historical heritage, and enhance cultural engagement in the province.
