Book Evaluation Commission Holds Regular Session

On  Monday, 27 Rabi al-Thani 1447 AH The Book Evaluation Commission under the Deputy Ministry of Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture convened its regular session under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister Mr. Muhajir Farahi, with the participation of the commission’s members.

At the beginning of the meeting, the secretary presented a detailed report on the previous session. The participants reviewed the commission’s recent activities and achievements, which were assessed positively.

During the session, the commission made decisions regarding several submitted books. Publications found to align with Islamic principles and Afghan cultural values received official approval for printing. The commission also issued relevant resolutions concerning 57 previously released titles.

In addition, 16 newly submitted books were assigned to commission members for review and evaluation, with findings to be presented in the next meeting. The commission also examined and approved calendars (yearbooks) prepared by the Embassy of Japan after due evaluation.
