Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture met with the Special Representative of Pakistan and the Accompanying Delegation
Today Sunday (2023/9/24), Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah met with the Special Representative of Pakistan Asif Durrani and the accompanying delegation in his office.
In the meeting, bilateral relations, trade, and solution of the problems of passengers on Torkham and Chaman border routes were discussed.
The Acting Minister of Information and Culture emphasized that Afghanistan and Pakistan are two neighboring countries, which are closely related to each other, including religion and culture, if one country is insecure then that can have negative effects on the neighboring country.
In addition, he mentioned the violence or imprisonment of refugees, women and children in Pakistan, which should be stopped and added that it should be avoided since it has a negative impact on the relations between the two countries.
He added that the Islamic Emirate's policy is clear, it does not want to have difficult relations with any country.
The Minister also said that every problem should be solved through talks and negotiations, and political issues should not be an obstacle to transit.
Later, Mr. Asif Durrani, the Head of the Pakistani delegation spoke and he promised that the issue will be thoroughly investigated and such incidents will be prevented in the future.
In addition, Mr. Durrani added that Pakistan is ready for any kind of cooperation and wants to resume the series of educational scholarships for Afghan students.
