400 Books Were donated to Kunduz Province’s Public Library

The Department of Public Libraries of the Ministry of Information and Culture donated (400) books for the purpose of enriching the Public Library of Kunduz province and solving the problems.

During the handing over of the books, Director of Information and Culture of Kunduz province, Matiullah Rohani, praised the action of the Directorate of the Public Library and called on other lovers of books and studies and culture lovers to participate in the enrichment of the Public Library of Kunduz Province.

Mr. Rohani said: “The door of the public library is open to the readers, the readers can study in a calm and safe atmosphere.”

Abdul Saleem Sarwari, the manager of the public library, said that these (400) books include math, science, biology and other books in addition to religious books, which will solve most of the problems of the study lovers.

It is worth noting that currently there are about (10,000) volumes of different books in the Public Library of Kunduz and every day 15 to 20 book lovers come to this library to study.
