The 104th Anniversary of the Country's Independence Was Celebrated in Nangarhar

The Department of Information and Culture of Nangarhar province and Manbar Scientific and Cultural Society jointly held a meeting to celebrate the 104th anniversary of regaining freedom from the British.
The meeting was held near Shah Amanullah Khan's Amir Shaheed Garden in Jalalabad city, where in addition to civil and military officials of Nangarhar province, university professors, students, writers, poets, tribal leaders, youth, religious scholars and many citizens participated.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Najibullah Saleh, a professor of Nangarhar University and a member of the Minbar Scientific and Cultural Society, said; "It is a matter of pride that today we are participating in such a meeting, which was held 104 years ago. Our fathers and grandfathers got the freedom of the dear country of Afghanistan from the British occupation and made us all proud of this historic day. Our leaders and ghazis have always fought against foreigners and infidels according to religious rules, and by giving sacrifices, they have gained the freedom of this country.”
At the same time, the Director of Nangarhar Information and Culture Maulvi Noor Muhammad Hanif also spoke in detail about this and other historical days and added that, from Gorgin and Genghis to now, the great men and boys of our country, the Mujahideen, have made great sacrifices for the freedom and independence of the country and have left their histories as a legacy to us and future generations.
