Hundreds of Copies of Decree No. 17 Distributed in Panjshir

The Panjshir Directorate of Information and Culture has begun distributing printed copies of Decree No. 17 among residents of the provincial centre and Rukha District to raise awareness of its provisions and promote the prevention of harmful customs and practices contrary to Islamic Sharia.
Mawlawi Nasrullah Malikzada, Director of Information and Culture in Panjshir, said hundreds of copies of the decree had been distributed. He added that residents were also briefed on the importance of observing Sharia rulings, avoiding harmful customs and implementing the decree’s provisions.
Malikzada said the copies had been printed and prepared by the Deputy Ministry for Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture before being delivered to the provincial directorate for distribution.
He further announced that the directorate plans to print public awareness banners about Decree No. 17 in the near future and install them along the main road in Panjshir province.
Several residents welcomed the distribution, saying they would seek to conduct their daily affairs in accordance with Islamic Sharia and cooperate in preventing harmful customs and practices that conflict with its rulings.
