A Coordination Meeting Was Held Between The Government And The Media

Yesterday, a coordination meeting was held with Journalists at the Department of Information and Culture of Helmand Province, in which the Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Culture Maulvi Muhammad Qasim Riaz, the Manager of National Radio and Television, Maulvi Nazar Muhammad Zahid, the spokesman of the police headquarters, Mullah Ezzatullah Haqqani, spokespersons of government agencies, reporters of various media and media executives participated.
At the beginning of the meeting, Abdullah Haqmal, the Provincial Manager of the Afghan Journalists' Protection Committee, said that the purpose of this meeting is to create better coordination between the government and journalists.
Afterwards, the head of Helmand Journalists' Association, Wahidullah Wahdat, spoke about the value of media and journalists in society and requested the Afghan Journalists' Protection Committee to give media workshops to Helmand-based journalists and spokespeople for capacity building. 
Later, Mr. Riaz assured the journalists of cooperation within the framework of the media law and promised to address the problems of journalists and media workers on time.
Mr. Riaz said, we are committed to cooperate with the media in accordance with Islamic principles and Afghan culture.
