Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs Meets Journalists and Media Representatives in Nangarhar

Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs Mawlawi Muhajir Farahi, in the presence of Nangarhar Director of Information and Culture Mawlawi Zabihullah Noorani, held a meeting with journalists and representatives of local media outlets in Nangarhar Province.
The meeting focused on media activities, challenges faced by journalists, ways to further strengthen local media, enhance professional capacities, and improve coordination between media outlets and relevant institutions. Participants exchanged views on these issues and discussed the challenges facing the media sector.
Mawlawi Farahi highlighted the important role of the media in raising public awareness, providing information and reflecting the concerns of the public. He stressed that media outlets should carry out their activities in accordance with professional standards.
He also heard the views, suggestions and concerns of journalists and media representatives and assured them that necessary efforts and coordination would be made to address media-related challenges and further improve media affairs.
At the end of the meeting, participants shared their concerns, suggestions and requests with the officials and called for the continuation of such meetings to help strengthen the effectiveness of media activities.
