Ministry of Information and Culture Introduces New Deputy Minister for Art and Culture
On the 11th of Safar, 1448 AH, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayyebi, the former Chancellor of Kandahar University, was appointed as the deputy minister for Art and Culture at the Ministry of Information and Culture, following a decree from the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. His formal introduction and assumption of duties occurred during a ceremony attended by several notable figures, including Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani, the Minister of Information and Culture; Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs; Mohajer Farahi, the Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs; along with various advisers, directors, and representatives from Emirate institutions.
During the ceremony, Mawlawi Saifuddin Taib, the Deputy Head of the Administrative Office of the Islamic Emirate, read the decree appointing the new Deputy Minister. He addressed the attendees by emphasizing that changes and transfers within the administrative system are fundamental principles aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations. He also highlighted that the success of the Islamic Emirate is rooted in obedience to its leadership.
In his remarks, Minister of Information and Culture Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani expressed appreciation for the services of the former Deputy Minister for Art and Culture, Mawlawi Atiqullah Azizi. He explained that this change was implemented to improve the organization and functioning of the Ministry. He further underscored the importance of responsibility and adherence to institutional directives, providing guidance and recommendations to Ministry officials.
The newly appointed Deputy Minister for Art and Culture, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayyebi, stated that the success of the Islamic Emirate depends on obedience to its leadership and that all officials and members must fully implement every decision issued by the leadership. He expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Ministry of Information and Culture for their trust in him. He affirmed his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities with integrity, dedication, and a strong sense of duty. Additionally, he called on all officials and employees of the Ministry to fully cooperate in further strengthening and improving the Ministry's operations.
