Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs Visits Logar Province
Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture, visited Logar Province, accompanied by a delegation. During this visit, he met with Sheikh Enamullah Salahuddin, the Deputy Governor of Logar, along with officials from the Directorate of Information and Culture and representatives from various media institutions. The discused the importance of strengthening cooperation and improving coordination in administrative matters.
Mr. Jamal stated that the primary purpose of the visit was to evaluate the administrative functions of the Directorate of Information and Culture. He aimed to engage directly with local officials to understand the challenges they face, recommendations and proposals, and enhance coordination and institutional cooperation with the provincial administration.
In his remarks, Sheikh Enamullah Salahuddin described the Directorate of Information and Culture as the voice of the government and a hub for cultural development. He emphasized its role in preserving the historical identity and cultural values of the region. He assured the provincial administration’s full support and commitment to enhancing the activities of the directorate.
Mawlawi Sawab Jan Islamyar, the Director of Information and Culture in Logar, expressed gratitude to the leadership and officials of the Ministry of Information and Culture for their responsiveness to the challenges and recommendations of the directorate. He highlighted the aim of improving institutional effectiveness and administrative performance.
Additionally, he noted that while the public library and museum are being expanded, there is also a need to renovate the directorate’s administrative building. This renovation would create a more suitable environment for providing effective administrative and cultural services.
