Renovation and Restoration of Paktia's historic BalaHesar is one of our priorities

Mawlawi Attiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Arts and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, made these statements during his visit to the historic Balahisar of Paktia. He added, in this coming year of 1402, Paktia’s historic Balahisar, the restoration and renovation project is one of our priorities.
He also said that he made the trip to evaluate the situation of the historic Balahisar of Paktia, research, and what to do about the liberation  and construction of the seized land related to Balahisar.
Azizi added that we have completed the formation of a security unit called 012 in the field of protection of historical monuments, and in the course of a year, hundreds of people have been assigned to protect historical monuments in some provinces and regions. Also, work is underway to increase the capacity and attract the 012 Historical Monuments Protection Unit, which will soon be assigned to other areas as well.
It is worth noting that the Department of Information and Culture of Paktia has repeatedly made suggestions regarding the restoration and repair of the historical Bala Hesar of Paktia, through which today the Deputy Minister of Art and Culture Maulawi Attiqullah Azizi made a trip to assess the situation.
