Officials of the Department of Information and Culture visited the Historical Areas of Rastaq District
Maulvi Zabihullah Ansari, Director of Information and Culture of Takhar province, and Ustad Nooruddin Qalich Beik, Manager of Culture and Tourism, visited the historic monuments of the said district during their visit to Rastaq district.
Maulvi Zabihullah Ansari says: “The historical monument of Sultan Mehmood Balkhi of Rustaq district, which is also known as Hazrat Waqif, was damaged due to rains and natural calamities last year.” He added; Information about all the historic monuments of Rastaq district that need to be restored will be shared with the Ministry of Information and Culture, so that a proper plan can be made for their restoration.”
