The Official Person of Restoration and Protection of Ancient Monuments of the UNESCO Scientific and Cultural Organization Met with the Director of Information and Culture of Bamiyan

Alissa Panousia, the Director of the Restoration and Preservation of Monuments in Bamiyan province, and David Favaron, the Engineer of the Restoration of the Monuments of the UNESCO Scientific, Educational and Cultural Organization, met with the Director of Information and Culture of this province.
  In this meeting, the Director of Information and Culture of Bamiyan Province, Mawlavi Safiullah Raed, while insisting on the protection of the ancient monuments of Bamiyan, said; “Bamiyan is one of the provinces where there are many valuable ancient and historical sites and this Ancient area should be protected.”
According to Mr. Raed, the ancient monuments of Bamiyan, which are in danger, are in serious need of restoration. Now, fortunately, UNESCO is cooperating with the Department of Information and Culture of Bamiyan in this regard.
Also, Mr. Raed thanked UNESCO for its continuous support in the protection of Bamiyan's Monuments.
At the same time, Alisa Panousia, the Official responsible for the restoration and protection Monuments of UNESCO, also called the Monuments of Bamyan province interesting and emphasized on their protection.
