MoIC Supporting Programs Launched for Strengthening Culture, Minister Safi

Acting minister of information and culture Hasina Safi in a meeting with the director of Pamir Group Companies praised the group for launching a program lilted ‘Grand Bank & people Festival’. 
In the meeting, head of the Pamir Group Companies and Haji Ahmad Shah Faqiri Social and Welfare Foundation Javed Naab briefed related to the groups’ programs, saying that the foundation was planning to hold a program titled ‘Grand Book and People Festival’ with participation of 3,000 girls and boys in Herat to motivate people in particular youth.  He added that the program was aimed to strengthen the book-reading culture among youth in the province.
He asserted that a book titled ‘Oswa have Islamic’ with 3,000 subscribers free of charge.
He also granted a copy of the book to the acting minister of information and culture, adding that the foundation was planning to create a library and standard printing company for printing religious, scientific and research books.
The head of the foundation invited the acting minister of information and culture to participate in the final ceremony of the festival.  Hasina Safi considered the foundation’s initiative as a good step towards strengthening the culture of book reading and praised the step.
Meanwhile, the acting minister of information and culture asserted that the ministry was supporting such programs held for strengthening the culture in the country.
