The Signage and Advertising Boards Reform Commission, operating under the Deputy Ministry for Publication Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, conducted an inspection of signage and advertising displays in the Cinema Pamir area of Kabul’s First District as part of its ongoing field activities.

At the start of the program, Commission members held discussions with media representatives and officials from relevant guilds about the area's significance and the procedures for reforming and monitoring signage and advertising boards.

Additionally, professional members of the Commission suggested alternative terms in the country’s national languages to address non-standard signage and advertising boards. They also provided corrective recommendations to several shopkeepers and business owners.

During this inspection, more than 250 signage and advertising boards were examined and corrected.
