MoIC Assigns Committee to Review Contents of Panipat Movie

A meeting was held to discuss the country’s president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani’s order on how media have to release special programs on the occasion of Milad-al-Nabi, expected to be marked from 19 to 25 Aqrab (coinciding 10 to 16 November), BNA reported Tuesday.
The Acting Minister Safi urged the entire media, particularly the audio-visual ones to release their programs based on the Sirat al-Nabi and the Holy Prophet Mohammad’s Birthday, according to the agency.  The minister also appointed a committee on the basis of people’s requests with the membership of authorized representatives from the Presidential Office, National Security Council, General Directorate of the Presidential Administrative Affairs.  Ministries of Information and culture and Foreign Affairs, as well as the Academy of Sciences and other related organs, to follow the content and scenario of the Panipat Indian Movie.  The committee was asked to provide a report about their studies on the film and share it with the ministry’s next meeting, the agency said.
The minister went on saying that people’s demands were the main priority for the ministry and that they were accountable and responsible before citizens, according to the agency.
