Minister Safi Pledges Cleaning Seashore near Jam Minaret

Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Hasina Safi has vowed to soon clean the seashore nearing the Jam Minaret in Ghor province, BNA reported the other day.
The provincial director of information and culture of Ghor said the Jam minaret was not prone to collapse due to measures taken for it last year, according to the agency.
The acting minister of information and culture said the minaret was one of the country’s ancient and historical monuments and that her led ministry has done its bests last year.
“This year, the ministry of information and culture had allocated up to 9 million Afghanis to consolidate the seashore and clean the river near the minaret,” she was quoted by the agency.
