Minister of Information and Culture Meets with Journalists and Media Representatives in Kapisa
On 16 Muharram 1448 AH, Minister of Information and Culture Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani, joined by Deputy Minister for Publications Mawlawi Muhajir Farahi, met with journalists and representatives from state-run and private media during a visit to the Kapisa Directorate of Information and Culture.
Media representatives discussed organizational challenges, focusing on frequency filtering and the installation of broadcasting towers. They shared their concerns with the Minister and Deputy Minister and explored possible solutions.
During the meeting, Minister Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani commended journalists for their continued dedication and their active role in covering events and keeping the public informed. He reaffirmed the Ministry of Information and Culture's commitment to supporting the country's media sector and assured participants that every effort would be made to resolve the challenges they had raised and to provide the necessary support for journalists to carry out their professional responsibilities.
As part of his visit to Kapisa Province, the Minister also toured the various departments of the Kapisa Directorate of Information and Culture. He met with staff members, reviewed the Directorate's activities, and offered guidance and recommendations to the relevant officials. The Minister also assured employees that the Ministry would work to address the issues they had identified and would continue to support the Directorate in fulfilling its responsibilities.
