A Meeting was held in Paktia to Improve the (Poetic Festivals) Mushaira

 

Yesterday, a meeting was held with poets, writers and cultural figures in order to improve Gulban monthly and biannual festivals related to this department in the Meeting Hall of the Department of Information and Culture of Paktia province.
In the beginning, the Director of Information and Culture of the said province, Qazi Sawab Jan Islamiyar, said that the purpose of this meeting is to strengthen and improve literary and cultural affairs.
According to Mr. Islamiyar, in the past, writers and poets were thinking of writing and presenting poetry in an atmosphere of peace and freedom, but there was no opportunity for them. Now, there is a peaceful environment which provides the opportunity for them to freely engage in their activities.
Later, Manager of Arts and Culture, Aql Khan Wahaj said that all the poets of Paktia province will be registered and special identity cards will be given.
At the end of the meeting, the Director of Information and Culture of Paktia, Qazi Sawab John Islamiar, assured that special training programs will be made for poets and writers in professional fields by university professors.
