Meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission Held

On Monday (10 Jumada al-Thani 1447 AH), the Book Evaluation Commission, operating under the Deputy Ministry of Publications within the Ministry of Information and Culture, convened its regular meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mawlawi Zia-ul-Haq Haqmal, Director of the Bakhtar Information Agency, and included participation from other commission members.

At the beginning of the meeting, the commission’s secretary presented the report from the previous session, highlighting the achievements and activities of the commission, which were positively assessed.

During the meeting, decisions were made regarding several books, granting publication permission to those that aligned with Islamic and Afghan values. Additionally, necessary decisions were made concerning 516 previously issued books.

It is noteworthy that, at the end of the meeting, seven books submitted for evaluation were distributed to the members for review, so they can present their reports in the next session. The challenges and suggestions from publishers were also discussed during the meeting.
