The Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs heard the problems and demands of the Youth in Helmand province
Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Qari Muhammad Yunus Rashid, during his visit to Helmand, met with the youth, students and journalists of this province and listened to their problems and demands. Director of Information and Culture Hafiz Abdul Bari Rashid Helmandi, General Manager of Information Mawlawi Muhammad Qasim Riaz Sahib, Manager of Youth Affairs Qari Abdul Bari Hanzala, employees of the Department of Information and Culture, Helmandi youth and journalists were present.
At the beginning of the meeting, Qari Mohammad Yunus Rashid, Deputy Minister of the Youth was warmly welcomed by the youth of Helmand.
Later, Mr. Deputy said in his speech that Helmand is a large province of Afghanistan, most of the young people of this province are patriotic and service people. He added, the young people of this province deserve their voices to be heard and to receive a positive answer back, since during the last 20 years of occupation, they have gone through many problems and various hardships.
Afterwards, the Helmandi youths shared their requests and problems, among which were the provision of work, standard education, internal and external scholarships and capacity building programs for the youth.
The Deputy Minister of Youth gave light about their demands; we accept that a large number of young people in Afghanistan, including Helmand, are unemployed. In the near future, we will provide space for youngsters of Helmand in Kabul universities, the right of Helmandians will also be given to them in foreign scholarships, we will launch capacity building programs for the youth in the near future, so that we increase the general knowledge and build the capacity of the youth.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Rashid, the Deputy Minister of Youth, emphasized on the continuous meetings of the Helmand youth and asked the youth to play their role in the development of the country.
The meeting ended with a prayer.
