Daikundi Provincial Directorate of Information & Culture’s New Building Inaugurated

 Acting minister of information and culture Hasina Safi, accompanying Second Vice President Sarwar Danesh in a visit to Daikundi, opened the new building of provincial directorate of information and culture.
In the opening ceremony of the building, the acting minister of information and culture called the people of Daikundi as cultural and education loving people and informed of the ministry’s cooperation with cultural figures and youth of the province.
Informing of work on four historic monuments in the province, acting minister of information and culture added all historic and cultural monuments of Daikundi would be renovated.
“The ministry of information and culture holds the cultural week in the country’s province to make aware of various cultures of people living in the country and introduce various cultures and traditions of the people,” Safi said.
Daikundi provincial directorate of information and culture has shared 48 historic monuments and sites with the MoIC and 12 historic monuments of the province are registered with MoIC, which work on Qala-e-Khoidir, Qala-e-Chaharaspan and Qala-e-Khojorush are underway.
It is worth mentioning that the 3-floor Daikundi provincial department of information and culture’s new building project worth 28,222,678 AFG provided by MoIC has been completed in two years.
