The Cultural Attaché of the Ministry of Information and Culture Meets with the Chairman of Türkiye's Parliamentary Affairs Commission

The Cultural Attaché of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Qari Hamidullah Tamkeen, met with Mr. Süleyman Soylu, the Chairman of Türkiye’s Parliamentary Affairs Commission and Deputy Chair of the Justice and Development Party.
At the start of the meeting, Mr. Soylu welcomed the Cultural Attaché and described the meeting as an important step toward expanding cultural, academic, and religious relations between the two countries. He emphasized that Afghanistan and Türkiye share deep Islamic, historical, and cultural values, and that their relations are continuously strengthening and growing.
Similarly, Qari Hamidullah Tamkeen, highlighting Türkiye’s support for the people of Afghanistan over the years, expressed appreciation for Türkiye’s extensive cooperation in education, culture, social efforts, and other sectors. He stated that bolstering cultural and academic ties can lay a stronger foundation for bringing nations closer together. Mr. Tamkeen expressed hope that the bilateral relationship between Afghanistan and Türkiye will continue to grow.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed on the importance of holding similar gatherings in the future, viewing them as vital for strengthening friendly relations, sharing experiences, and expanding joint cultural and academic initiatives.
