Yesterday, a coordination meeting between the government and the media was held at the Information and Culture Department of Balkh province.
In this meeting, the Director of Information and Culture of Balkh province Maulvi Zabihullah Noorani, the spokesman of Balkh province Haji Zaid, the spokesman of the Police Headquarters, Waziri, the Press Officer of Intelligence, Elham, the spokesman of Amr bal-Maroof, Mufti Abdul Rahman Hanif, Abdul Latif Sahak, the Head of the Committee for the Protection of Journalists in the Northern Zone, the Manager of Information of the Department of Information and Culture, some media representatives and journalists also participated.
In the beginning, Alhaj Maulvi Zabihullah Noorani, Director of Information and Culture of Balkh province, spoke and mentioned the facilities and coordination for media activity and information delivery in Balkh province and said; “Fortunately, in the last two In years, there were no witnesses of any kind of violence against journalists in Balkh province, and this issue shows that the I.E.A is determined to ensure the safety of journalists and to create a good environment for them in the information sector.”
At the same time, Latif Sohak, the Head of the Committee for Safety of Journalists in Balkh province, Syed Mohammad Yazdan Parast, reporter of Nihad Radio, Munir Bahir, the reporter of Shamshad TV and also the manager of Azadi Radio, while thanking the Department of Information and Culture of Balkh province and spokesmen of government agencies of Balkh province for their cooperation and coordination and added that they will continue their broadcasts according to the policy of Islamic values and will provide information to their people with full honesty.
