Assessment of Bamyan Radio's Broadcasting Activities
1 Safar 1448 AH A delegation led by Mawlawi Safiullah Raed, Director of Mass Media Monitoring at the Deputy Ministry of Publication Affairs within the Ministry of Information and Culture, reviewed the broadcasting operations of Bamyan Radio. The review included the presence of Qari Sayed Mustafa Saleh, Director of Information and Culture for Bamyan Province, and Hujatullah Mujaddidi, President of the Afghanistan Free Journalists Association.
At the beginning of the meeting, Bamyan Radio officials briefed the delegation on the station’s broadcasting activities and technical operations. They highlighted the effective coordination between government institutions and media outlets in Bamyan Province, noting that journalists can perform their professional responsibilities in a secure and supportive environment.
During the meeting, Hujatullah Mujaddidi provided an overview of the country's media sector and discussed the situation of journalists. He emphasized the importance of organizing a range of professional development initiatives to strengthen journalists' skills and enhance the quality of media services across the country.
Mawlawi Safiullah Raed listened to the challenges and recommendations presented by Bamyan Radio officials. He reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to addressing the issues raised and seriously considering the proposals submitted.
Additionally, Raed offered several recommendations to support the continued improvement of the station's operations, stressing that the Ministry of Information and Culture is dedicated to enhancing the professional capacity of journalists and is actively pursuing this goal through various capacity-building programs for Afghan media professionals.
