Officials from the provincial Directorates of Information and Culture report that during the Eid al-Fitr holidays, nearly 2.3 million domestic and international tourists visited the country’s natural and recreational attractions. This marks a substantial increase compared to previous years, underscoring steady progress and renewed momentum in the tourism sector.

The officials also stressed the importance of public cooperation in safeguarding the environment, maintaining cleanliness in public areas, and preserving tourist destinations. They noted that, owing to effective coordination and the dedicated efforts of security institutions, visitors were able to travel throughout the country with confidence and a sense of safety during the Eid holidays.

The Ministry of Information and Culture, they added, remains committed to further expanding and strengthening the tourism sector nationwide, while continuing to enhance services and facilities for visitors.

Meanwhile, many tourists expressed their satisfaction, commending the security, organization, and warm hospitality they encountered.
